A vision taking form
Waves of Oneness is growing towards a network of sanctuaries rooted in freedom, harmony and deep respect for all of creation: places where humans, animals and nature can gather, reconnect and find a deeper sense of belonging.
It begins with relationship
Waves of Oneness is rooted in a simple remembering: that we are not separate from ourselves, from one another, from animals, from nature or from the wider web of life.
The sessions, the circles and the gatherings each carry that remembering in their own way, and each of them ends. A sanctuary is what happens when the same remembering is given ground to stand on: land where people, animals and the living world share one daily life, and where the relationship continues after everyone has gone home.
What a sanctuary may hold
Each sanctuary will take its own form, shaped by the land, its beings and its particular purpose. Most are likely to draw on some of these.
A place to live out their lives
A permanent home for animals who need one, met as companions and teachers rather than as stock. This is where the vision started, with one cow and the realisation that something was missing.
A regenerative relationship
Holistic and regenerative agriculture that gives back more than it takes, and that feeds the people who live and gather there.
Biodiversity and restoration
Ground allowed to return to itself: habitat, water, soil and the many lives that quietly depend on them being left alone.
Teaching and apprenticeship
Room for teachings, trainings and the slower kind of learning that only comes from staying somewhere long enough to notice it.
A shared daily life
People living, working and gathering together, with the practical questions of shared life worked out honestly rather than assumed away.
Rest and healing
Quiet places to stop, to be held and to do the inner work, within reach of the land and the animals.
The first sanctuary
Still being sensed into form
The first sanctuary is in research and development. Rather than starting from a fixed model, it is being allowed to take shape in relationship with the land and with the life already present there.
It will become a prototype: the place where the practical questions get answered, and the ground from which further sanctuaries can grow in other countries, each rooted in its own land and culture while sharing the same core philosophy.
There is no date to announce yet, and no land to name. What there is, is a clear direction and a growing circle of people moving in it.
Walk with us while it takes shape
The vision is being built slowly and in the open. The simplest way to follow it is to join the Circle of Belonging, the free monthly gathering, or to step into the community and meet the people already walking this way.
Would you like to talk about it?
Collaborators, land, and people who want to help carry this are all genuinely welcome. A note to Franziska is the place to start.
